February 15th Lesson: girls teach

Thank You Rachel for teaching this coming Sunday!
Here is a link to the lesson.

Girls we invite you to pick one thing out of next weeks lesson to ponder before class. Even if it's not your turn to teach. This will help you to gain a deeper understanding of the gospel principles being taught. And will help support your classmates teaching the lesson.

New Beginnings this Tuesday!

For our Young Women activtiy this week we will have New Beginnings. We are so excited to welcome our new young women. We can't wait to share the evening with you and your parents. Hope to see you all there!

Here is a link to President Uchtdorft full talk, if you are interested in reading or watching it. There are so many truths in this talk. What a great blessing it is to watch and re-watch, read and re-read words of our prophets and apostles.

Conference Personal Progress Project

Looking for a Personal Progress 10 hour Project? Watch/Listen to General Conference this weekend!

What you will need to do.
Watch/Listen to...
Both sessions Saturday
Both sessions Sunday
And Women Conference (from last weekend)

Take notes on each speaker.
Then after you have finished all the sessions, write a journal entry. The journal entry will be on whatever "personal progress value" you decided to use for this project.

You will need a new notebook or journal. This will keep all your notes and journal entry organized and together. You will enjoy looking back at this notebook/journal later.

Here are some ideas on what Values you could use this as a project.

Faith or Knowledge: Write about how your faith or knowledge has increased by listening to the words of the prophets. Then write your testimony on this value.

Divine Nature, Individual Worth, or Integrity:  Write about any new ideas you have on how you can increase your divine nature, individual worth, or integrity. Then write your testimony on this value.

Choice and Accountability:  Write about your choice to listen to all sessions of conference.  Include ideas on how conference affected you, as well as your testimony of the importance of making good choices.

You do not have to use any of these ideas. Talk with a parent or leader to come up with an idea that will work for you!
